The spirit with which he has built our Middletown branch of DSL is nothing more than an extension of the love, friendliness, and the warm welcoming environment that Kenny creates for everyone he meets every day of his life.

A Holiday "Message From Bobby D":
Happy Holidays Everyone! It’s been a while. :)
I’ll have a year in review and year ahead report for you with plenty of exiting news and announcements next week for the new year. Spoiler alert: New Desktop/Mobile Site, Bridesmaid Bar Crawl and more!
Right now I just want to share a moment. A little over 8 years ago we shared a vision. It was pretty new and the infinite possibilities were overwhelming and the responsibility was a little nerve racking. The gut checks when everyone waits until the last minute to set up their teams. The fights and challenges that “you will never take competition on of sports”. Fielding questions like “if its not about winning why do you keep score”? For the record we are definietly not tryng to to take competition out of sports...just chill the intesity a bit.
I remember the scariest of all moments when I looked at at my wife and said “I think I am going to do this Kickball thing as a career.” I had no idea what was ahead of me but I believed that I was born to do it and that what I was doing had a reach beyond my own ambitions and spoke to the ambitions of people throughout Delaware. I'm just so lucky to have had the support of so many as we march along on this journey.
When We Act Together On Behalf of Something Beyond Ourselves…LIMITS DO NOT EXIST.
What I remember most is things like the dedication to an idea enough to tattoo DSL on your thigh (you know who you are), the wedding cake made into a kickball, the love found on a ski trip that turned into marriage, the friendships that lasted through loss and the love created on and off the field among friends that helped carry those that needed support through the darkest of times. The memories you create on the field, at the bar after the game, on trips, the events we throw throughout the year, and the parties you throw for yourselves with your teammates and friends are all yours to keep.
That was never more apparent to me than when a long time friend and beloved DSLer hugged me at my maid of honor’s funeral a couple of weeks ago sobbing (we both were) thanking me for introducing them. The real prize Dawn is yours. The relationship you built with Melissa and the fun you created together is yours (and hers) to enjoy forever. You built that together and you have only yourselves to thank for that. Not me. I am never more proud of a relationship that I had the joy to watch blossom into love than I am of what I saw you and Melissa embrace together.
This holiday season remember that the love and friendship you create through DSL is the true "product" that you invest in each season. We make a very deliberate choice to create a variety of experiences and access points through which you can engage one another and the business community around you. The most important of those outcomes is that you find friendship, love, safety, comfort, find your way around, discover the things happening in and around Delaware that are positive, fun, active and full of energy. In short our job is to help you build a home here. No matter how long you call “here” home.
Relationships are what make a home a home. There is no better time to embrace that idea than the holidays.
Your job is simply to be open and have the courage to try new things. We'll continue to lead the way.
With all the love in my heart I wish you, your teammates, your friends and your family a very Safe, Happy and most of all FUN Holiday.

We want to wish a very special Happy Birthday to our Cornhole Program Manager Mark Wagner who is in his last season as a program manager (for now).
Mark has grown our Cornhole program from a silly concept into a full blown event every Thursday night in Wilmington. We now have over 60 people a week playing Cornhole every Thursday and crowds of over 100 people filling the bar as other DSL Thursday night sports roll into Famous Tim's after their games.
Although we are sad to see him go, he has a fairly good reason. He and his beautiful wife Ashley are expecting their first child very soon. What a lucky kid!
We are so proud of what you have built and wish you the very happiest of days today.
Happy Birthday Wagner and cheers to the growing Wagner Clan!
