Hello Female Dodgeballers,
We were thinking about using a smaller 7 inch dodgeball for the upcoming season and wanted to hear your thoughts and opinions. Currently the guys and girls all use an 8 inch dodgeball and the new 7 inch would be for the ladies only. We are curious about this for a few reasons and they are as follows:
1) Reduce squeezing and tearing. We are trying to limit the tearing and the squeezing the balls. We are not saying it is the the ladies tearing the dodgeballs; however the census is that females have longer fingernails than the guys. We could be wrong, but we are just using the knowledge we have available to us.
2) Allow the girls to be able to throw the ball a little easier. Keep in mind that if it easier to throw it will also be more difficult to catch.
Please let us know your thoughts either way.
