In the Fall of 2009 Delaware Sports League and The Downtown Wilmington YMCA's launched a partnership. The YMCA recognized the good that DSL is trying to do and valued the intagible element of "community" that DSL provides. Understanding that living a healthy social life is a very important part of living a healthy adult life, the YMCA and DSL decided to partner to continue to provide traditional YMCA Adult Sports while adding a bit of the DSL touch to make things a little more social and inviting to all those that want to play. You do not need to be a member of the YMCA to participate in joint DSL/YMCA sports & activities and you are automatically considered an active member of Delaware Sports League when you participate in these programs.
