Indoor Volleyball Opening Night Postponed 1 Week
Season Now Starts Sunday October 30th
Hey Everyone!!
OK so it looks like we are going to go ahead and give you this Sunday off!
We will start the season Sunday October 30th.
You like how I made that sound like a big prize???
The real reason is that we have had a little bit of a team registration explosion this week and we have had 4 new teams register for a total of 14 now!
Essentially what this means is that we are going to abandon the idea of rushing and getting this thing in before X-mas and instead work a little magic with the schedule so that we do not have any of you there too too late on a Sunday, while also making sure that everyone gets to play on the main court with the brand new nets that we helped Fournier Hall get for all of their Volleyball activities, including DSL!
Pete has redone the schedule 3 times this week and now we have decided that 14 is enough, we need to move forward with the season, but do not want to rush to start this week and risk being disorganized or have you or Dave there till 11pm on a Sunday. We are going to take this week and be sure that we create a schedule that makes life good for everyone, Dave our Referee included!
T-Shirts...
Perhaps the one upside is that this gives us time to have the T-shirt order in on the first week. We are going to be ordering T-shirts on Monday at 2pm. That is when we will be running the report for the T-Shirt order so tell your friends that still need to register not to dilly dally. Heh heh...I like saying dilly dally...
I digress, so the sum of it is, you have this Sunday off from Volleyball and we will start up next Sunday October 30th with Opening Week of Fall Indoor Volleyball. Get your friends to register by Monday so they get a T-Shirt.
If You Have Registered To Be Placed On A Team...
If you have registered and asked to be placed on a team and have not yet heard anything, don't fret! We will be letting you know what team you are on shortly. We are just finalizing which teams have/need what and we will be placing you on a team and e-mail you this week to let introduce you to your new teammates! Sit tight and I promise you will have your team by Wednesday at the latest.
