One of the things at DSL that we like to do is choose our sponsors, or if they come to us we make sure that they’re the type of sponsor we’re looking for. That being said, we have created what we call “The Top 20,” which essentially means that at each DSL location, we'll choose 20 sponsors only. This also serves as a way to keep sponsorship valuable. The less sponsors there are, the more valuable a sponsorship of the Delaware Sports League becomes. When we decided to limit the number of sponsors per location, this does NOT include restaurants and bars.

The Top 20 are the 20 sponsors in that location that will represent DSL from various industries. Once we are full, you can go on a waiting list, but we will not accept any more than 20 sponsors per location. We will not have two sponsors of the same industry. For instance, we wont have two chiropractors as sponsors of the same location.

For example, if you’re the Wilmington chiropractor, then you’re the Wilmington chiropractor, and no other chiropractors can join on as DSL sponsors in Wilmington. If you want to be a state-wide sponsor in your industry, you are more than welcome to do that as well.

Basically, “The Top 20” are the 20 businesses that we’ve decided we want to represent DSL at that location.
