Primary Demographic: 23-35 Year Old Professionals

The Majority of people that play are 23-35 years old. It is a relatively even mix of Men and Women. Most are working Professionals. There are a number of people from the Banks as well as Lawyers, Doctors, Engineers, and numerous other professional fields.

We find that this league is particularly appealing to teachers and those in the field of education. Our belief is that it is because they get to watch their students play these games all day long…with DSL…it’s their turn!

Actual Age Range: Anyone Age 21-60!

21-60 We actually have people of all ages. In February we featured a 49 year old mother of 2 in our “Member Spotlight”. In 2007 we had two 50+ year olds that played Kickball and loved it and in 2008 we had a couple of members in their 60’s playing Dodgeball at our downstate league and laughing and smiling through every minute of it.

It does not matter your age, athletic ability, weight, height, or experience. All that matters is that you are open to new people, new experiences, and have a youthful spirit that allows you to embrace the principles that Delaware Sports League holds dear. Come one, come all!

The Growth Potential of Delaware Sports League: 4 Locations in Two Years!

Delaware Sports League was named so intentionally. We want our concept to be open to all of the adults in Delaware that want to get exercise, meet people, and have fun. Our goal was to grow to all 3 counties within the state of Delaware within our first 2 years. We accomplished that goal in 2008 well under our goal of 2 years. Now in just over 2 years, we have 4 locations in Wilmington, Hockessin, MOT, and Lewes. Each league was at the request of the local businesses and people! It was the work of sponsors and members alike that have made our astonishing growth possible. DSL itself is a team sport and it seems like the state is on board 100%!

Participating Members: We have Grown to 1,200+ Active Members Per Season Statewide!

In just over 2 years DSL has grown to over 1,200+ active members statewide in every season. We had an inaugural year goal of 2000 non unique members in Wilmington…we CRUSHED our goal and we’re darn proud of it! 2000 is a modest thing of the past now, but we never forget where we started. We now have:

• Over 1,200 Members statewide
• Over 3,300 E-mail followers
• Over 1,600 Facebook Friends

We enjoy over 10,000 unique visits and 32,000 page views to our website per month. We’re just happy people care! The compliment that is the number of people following DSL is not lost on us!
